A One-Of-A-Kind Event!

Heart of Michigan Run/Walk is an event designed to bring thousands of runners and walkers to the State Capitol to raise money for non-profits.  Runners and walkers will have the unique opportunity to run down Michigan Avenue, “the Heart of the State,” with a view of our State Capitol during the entire 5K.  The 10K circles off of Michigan Avenue, but then runners come back and finish on Michigan Avenue and at the State Capitol.  Both events finish at the Capitol with a Taste of Michigan Celebration.

All of the charitable money raised stays in Michigan with Michigan non-profits.  Six dollars of every entry goes to fight childhood obesity.  Any non-profit can gather teams together to raise funds for their own cause.  We hope to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for state of Michigan non-profits.
